Going further north…

The last stop in Georgia was close to Savannah. The funny thing was we had to cross a bridge that was under construction. You had to pass the old bridge which was a swing bridge and had to watch the tide for the part of the new bridge which was already built.

In the next state, South Carolina, we stayed for one night in a marina in Hilton Head Island. It was time for shopping and washing...

The next stop was involuntarily before a bascule bridge. We were two hours too early before it opened. We let no grass grow under our feet and discovered the beautiful surroundings besides the pontoon.

The bridge opened and Whitebird passed her way through it...
