Discovering Porto

On Tuesday, 16th October we reached the harbour of Porto. The funny thing in the morning was that this marina had a "service for rolls". Even if you don't ask for it, you get fresh rolls which are put on the deck of your boat - every morning at 8:30 ;o)

Wednesday night we spontaneously decided to have dinner in a small Portuguese restaurant. We had a wonderful evening with good food, some wine and a friendly Portuguese family that brought a nice atmosphere to the restaurant.

We had a Dorade and a stick with shrimps - really delicious from the grill outside...

The next day Dieter did some maintenance on the boat and Claudi was delighted to go   shopping with the kids in "El Corte Ingles".

On Friday we bought vegetables and fruits from the market. Nearby was a traditional public washing house where you could do washing like in the old days. On the foto you can see an old woman hanging up her clothes on a public open space.
