Great Guana Cay

At Great Guyana Cay (5th March) we stopped for provisioning and washing our clothes. The laundry had an own dinghy dock! For the kids it was exciting to meet so many people in the washing room and to rummage in old books some sailors left in a book shelve.

On our whole journey we hadn’t met any sharks so far. But in the general dinghy dock we saw some nurse sharks. They hid in the shadow of the dinghies. It is said that they are harmless (they have no teeth) but we didn’t try it out...

When we had slack tide the beach was unbelievable big and you were able to walk such a long distance.
