Impressions on the ICW

The Intracoastal Waterway is a nice alternative route to the Atlantic ocean. It is not as fast as going on the Atlantic but you can enjoy nature -we saw a lot of dolphins on the ICW. Since we had the wind coming from the north for a couple of days nevertheless, we could move slowly northbound.

After a few days we arrived in Charleston. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth staying longer than one night, so we continued to Georgetown. On our way we saw two big cargo ships passing each other, we crossed a swing bridge with two other catamarans and experienced a thunder and lightning spectacular like we never saw it...
